Choithrams is a premier supermarket chain and food distributor in the Middle East, is inviting talented and eligible candidates to attend a open day walk in interview for retail supermarket vacancies for the following roles:

1. Stocker

• Replenish shelves as per FIFO & merchandising standards.
• Handle stock receiving, tagging & shelf arrangement.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene & aisle safety.
• Physically fit; flexible with shifts.
• Retail / supermarket experience preferred.

2. Butcher

• Meat cutting, trimming & portioning as per standards.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety & cold chain compliance.
• Knowledge of cuts, tools & equipment handling.
• Ability to work in chilled environments.
• Relevant experience mandatory.

3. Stocker cum Cashier

• Operate POS & handle cash/card transactions accurately.
• Provide courteous customer service at checkout.
• Maintain billing accuracy & cash discipline.
• Basic English communication required.
• Retail cashier experience preferred.

4. Counter Service Clerk

• Serve customers at fresh food / service counters.
• Weighing, packing & product presentation.
• Maintain hygiene & counter cleanliness.
• Good customer interaction skills.
• Retail / food service experience preferred.

5. Customer Service Manager

• Drive sales performance and oversee store operations.
• Responsible for management of staff members in the supermarket.
• Analyzing reports and implement necessary corrective actions on the floor to improve sales, shrinkage, inventory & maintain availability.
• Monitoring and adherence to communications from Support departments ensuring compliance.

6. Driver

• Deliver merchandise safely and on time.
• Plan efficient delivery routes.
• Follow delivery schedules and traffic rules.
• Report delivery issues promptly.
• Perform basic vehicle checks.
• Support and coordinate with delivery helpers.
• Handle stock, documents, and cash accurately.
• Collect and submit cash payments promptly.
• Maintain a clean driving record.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates with relevant experience in Retail / FMCG / Supermarket / Distribution preferred.
• Candidates must have good communication skills and professional presentation.
• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts (including weekends).
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice preferred.
• Food handling roles must adhere to hygiene & safety standards.
• For the driver role, candidates must hold a valid UAE driving license (Category 3 to 6), minimum 6 months validity.
• Age bracket must be up to 40 years old.
