About Ras Al Khaimah International Airport:

When we delve into the history of RAK Airport, we discover that it was established way back in 1976 by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi. Several years later, in 2007, RAK Airways commenced operations as the first national airline. Unfortunately, the airline was suspended just a year later due to the economic crisis. It was relaunched but eventually faced permanent suspension in 2013. Subsequently, RAK Airport initiated its second airline, Air Arabia, which currently operates numerous routes and serves destinations across Asia and the Middle East.
