The main job responsibilities are to greet guests when they enter into the hotel. Booking a guest room by using hotel switchboard system. Take payments in advance by cash and credit cards. Ask for identification and complete the check-in process. Provide room keys and call for bellboy or trolley boy with the help of the reception desk bell so he can carry their luggage and deliver them safely into the room. When a guest is ready to check out, a front desk receptionist completes the check-out process by provided their credentials. Request them to clear all dues and hand over the room keys.
